Family Home Visiting

Family Home Visiting (FHV) has been funded by the Government as part of the "Every Chance for Every Child" initiative and provides ongoing home visits and support to eligible families over a two year period. Nurses are supported by a multidisciplinary team including social workers, psychologists, family support co-ordinators and Aboriginal health staff.

Parents are referred to the Family Home Visiting service by child and family nurses of the Child and Family Health Service. To make an appointment with a nurse call 1300 733 606.
