"It’s my fault"
20 May 2013
"It’s my fault" is not something that we often hear anyone saying these days.
There are lots of stories in the media about people who try to shift the blame for something onto someone else by making excuses.
Maybe you know of people in your family or kids at school who do the same sort of thing?
How do you react if you have done something wrong—or not done something which you should have done? Do you try to shift the blame onto someone else or do you say,” Sorry, it’s my fault.”?
How would you feel if someone tried to get you into trouble for something you hadn’t done? Would you trust that person in future?
Taking the blame, saying sorry and trying to put things right are the actions of a person who is trustworthy and would make a good friend.
