Think about subject combinations
14 Nov 2005

A recent study on moving from study to work in Australia has shown that subject choice in Year 12 can be very important. The study suggests that its best to choose subjects with a study/work pathway in mind, and that mixed subjects might not give the best opportunities or options later on.

This is not just for those that want to go to Uni. If someone is looking to go to TAFE or move into the workforce, it is still a good idea to do subjects that will help with future employment.

So the best advice seems to be to talk with a career counsellor and work out the best subject combinations for you at school and in future study.
